This quote is very true because breaking a promise makes you a untrustworthy person. If you make a promise make sure you keep it. You never know if it hurts the persons feelings because you broke a promise. If you are not sure about the promise, then think before you act. We were showed two examples about 2 different people and how they kept their promises. Abraham Lincoln was the first example. He promised his mother to never drink alcoholic beverages and smoke. He has been keeping his promise since he was 9 years old. A very true person! The second example was Mr. Weddle's. He promised to not shave his bread until the terrorist was killed or captured. And he did keep his promise. Remember to always keep your promise and if you are not sure about the promise then think before you act.
